Mencap is celebrating its 80th anniversary in 2026, marking eight decades of supporting people with a learning disability and their families

Frank, Jenny & Christine had a great day at the Houses of Parliament on 17th June 2026 for Mencap’s 80th Anniversary.

MP’s were very impressed by how Stroud Mencap & SDHFL started and especially by Frank for being the first child with Downs Syndrome in Gloucestershire to go to a mainstream primary & secondary school
