Support and Care workers have a vital role in our service provision. Staff who work for Stroud and District Homes Foundation are committed, knowledgeable, skilled, respectful, person centred in their approach, kind and caring.
To ensure our staff stay up to date in their knowledge and provide the very best care and support we ensure they receive regular support from their line manager and have access to a range of qualifications, skills and development opportunities to include: QCF in Health and Social Care at appropriate levels.
We also ensure we provide bespoke training to staff supporting service users with specific individual needs.
We have a bank of care and support workers who work with us to cover staff holidays and absences, these staff are well known to service users and work with them regularly. We make sure that our bank staff have the same training and support opportunities as our regular staff.
