Barn Lodge has the honour of being the first home opened by Stroud & District Homes foundation in 1982 and the foundation from which the organisation grew.
Overview
Barn Lodge is a Supported Living service based in Stroud that is home to six service users who are supported to live as independently as possible by a dedicated team.
Facilities
Service users share a communal lounge, conservatory, kitchen, laundry room and bathrooms/shower rooms. Some rooms have en-suite bathroom facilities. Service users have individual tenancy agreements with Stroud and District Mencap Society, who own the properties.
Local Amenities
Barn Lodge is within easy walking distance of Stroud town centre which is a bustling town with plenty going on. There are cafes, charity shops, cinema, pubs, take-a-ways and markets, all within a 5 minute wall. Stroud College and supermarkets are also nearby. There is a bus and train station within easy walking distance to Barn Lodge.
